Global Citizenship

This course addresses a variety of aspects of global citizenship to introduce the global dimension of modern life and its requirements and challenges. As people interdepend on each other environmentally, politically, economically, socially, culturally, and morally so this course examines the values and concepts in relation to each aspect and aims to familiarize students with different dimensions of global citizenship.

Students go beyond the raw information and news headlines, and look at each aspect of global citizenship through a conceptual lens. They participate in discussions, research, studying, and teamwork to objectively understand the discourses and practically apply their knowledge and learning in their real lives.
