Core Courses
Like many other universities worldwide, in response to the need to prevent the disadvantages of over-specialization, and considering the university's common goals for all its students, BIHE designed a core curriculum program.
Our approach to curriculum planning for this program is not restricted to any particular educational theory. However, we emphasize certain principles, including capacity-building, caring-critical-creative thinking, and holistic learning.
EFL
English as a Foreign Language (EFL) program, a comprehensive fully online program, is developed to teach students English for Academic Purposes (EAP). This would enable them to benefit from English textbooks, academic journals, and web-based courses. Also would prepare them for taking online university courses offered in English by more than 500 experienced volunteer university professors in North America, Europe, and Australia and other regions. A unique feature of BIHE’s EFL program is its course content addressing issues such as world peace, environmental protection, and equality.
